I'm really disappointed, I been customer with Expedia from really long time, using their service every time I travel somewhere, thinking that they will protect your rights if anything wrong happened with the airlines, and they will make sure that you will get the service you paid for, that's why I didn't care that their prices are more expensive than a lot of companies offering the same service, I booked a roundtrip Ticket with them (Expedia) cairo to LA, LA to Cairo, supposed to go backto cairo on the 17th, on air france, and they had pilots strike on that time and the flight was cancelled without any notification from Expedia nor the airline, we just figured out at the air port after we drove 2 hours from the place we were staying at, and they booked another ticket for us 5 days after the day we supposed to fly in, and give us a piece of paper at the airport saying that they will take care of the accommodation cost and the transportation cost for each extra day we are staying, and when I called the airline to see how that work, they simply said we are not going to pay you anything, go suit us, so was normal reaction that I call Expedia, the company that deal with and pay through, to explain to them what happened and help us with this situation and after put me on hold for so many times because no one know what to do, finally a manger told me its not our problem its the airline we have nothing to do about it, so she was saying in another word, yes you used our service and we got you a ticket after taking our commission we don't really care what happened after, if you getting the service you paid for or not, its not our problem, its your problem with the airline not us, so why we are using Expedia ??? I didn't really find an answer for that, but i'll make sure that I deliver this message for everyone I know, warning them from using Expedia, cause they will let you down, and once they take their commission they will turn their back and they will tell you its not our problem if you have any issue with the airlines or the hotels, Do NOT use Expedia
