Unrefuandable/ Untransfarable Airline Tickets - The Expedia itinerary number: 14173884**** Multiple Destination Trip


Normally, I liked dealing with Expedia ; they've typically been quite helpful until recently when I had to call the Customer Center to cancel an itinerary for an employee that had resigned.
They made me wait on hold for obscene (30 minutes plus) amounts of time only to tell me that they could not help me and told me I had to contact the airline that issued the ticket. They read me what sounded like a script about their policy and failed to listen to reason. Until this day (6/20/2012) Expedia has not replied via email or US Mail to our concerns.
What Expedia needs to do is reconsider their policies and realize that just about 50% if not 55% of the trips booked are by corporate companies flying out their employees to various parts of the states to complete business deals. Now I am finding myself having instating a new company policy regarding Uncompleted Trips- holding the individual who the ticket was originally purchased for responsible for total trip cost.
I will NEVER NEVER use them again and I would recommend that anyone that is reading this, DOES NOT book through Expedia because if a problem arises it is likely that you will not receive customer service and there is a chance that your issue is just that....your issue.
